I have a .TTC file on my iOS mobile app, but it can't be previewed.
I uploaded chinese fonts to dropbox but they cannot be viewed via iphone; the message dropbox gave is "cannot preview ttc files", please kindly advise (and thanks for understanding my snapshot in chinese.)

Hey jully! Thanks for posting on our Community.
At the moment, there are specific file types that can be previewed via the Dropbox mobile app (you can see a full list of these files here).
Since .TTC isn’t one of them, you’ll need to either export this file to your mobile device, or, if you’re not able to open it from there either, access it directly on your computer.
Please keep in mind that these files can’t be previewed via the Dropbox website either, so you’ll need to download it from your Dropbox web account or preview if via the desktop app.
Let me know, if you need something else though.

Hi Nancy,
Thanks for your kind reply. I am wondering how come those fonts could be previewed previously?
"these files can’t be previewed via the Dropbox website, so you’ll need to download it from your Dropbox web account" to iphone folders so that I can preview these fonts when I am on the move?
Thank you for further clarification,
Jully

Hey Jully! Can you clarify how long ago you were able to preview those files?
As for your iPhone, did you have any trouble while saving them locally with these steps? You can also try accessing them via the Files app, if you’ve integrated it with your Dropbox account.

Hi Jully,
I hope I am not bothering, as I know you have been assisted currently by Nancy, though I just thought I can offer some in some ways . You mentioned that you were able to preview these files before. It could be that you have had apps that enabled you to view these type of files. You might want to check this article to see if one of them can shed some light :
To view a TTC (TrueType Collection) file on a mobile device, you can either use an online TTC viewer or a mobile app that supports TTC files. Online viewers like Jumpshare allow you to upload the file and view it in a web browser, making it accessible on any device. Alternatively, some apps on the Google Play Store and App Store support TTC files, allowing you to preview or even install them directly on your device.
Online TTC Viewers:
- Jumpshare:
- Jumpshare provides an online TTC viewer that allows you to upload and view TTC files in a web browser.
- Other Online Viewers:
- Many other online font viewers, like Jumpshare's font viewer, can handle various font formats, including TTC, allowing you to preview them without needing specific software
Mobile Apps:
- Font Installers/Converters:
- Some apps, like the Font Converter app on Google Play, can be used to load, view, and convert font files, including TTC files.
- iFont (Android):
- An app called iFont (Android) can be used to preview and install custom fonts on your device, including those from TTC files.
- iFont (Android):
- An app called iFont (Android) can be used to preview and install custom fonts on your device, including those from TTC files.
- Other Font Management Apps:
- Many font management apps, available on both Android and iOS, may support viewing and managing TTC files.
Hope this helps.
Thank you
