Automatically start Uploading photos when charging - “Charge AutoSync”
1. So the idea is that once you plug in your charger, dropbox automatically uploads all your photos into the library.
2. This could be optional with sliding on off button. It could also be combined, so that when your phone is charging, and you are connected to Wi-Fi. It will start to upload your photos.
3. They could also be a third option, including both of the before mentioned solutions, but it would also synchronize your whole dropbox. All uploads and downloads would happen in this period.
That way, you will never have to worry about using up all your battery at an inconvenient time,or all ofyour monthly amount of gigabytes from your service provider.

Hi JackhammerNOR, thanks for the information.
There is an option to enable cellular data for the camera upload feature, which can be disabled to prevent any data usage at all.
Would it be fair to say that the request to have the camera upload feature to work when connected to power would still be valid?
This will help me to assist further!

Absolutely! Bear in mind, that Dropbox is used all over the world. Many have old phones with reduced battery life, and at the same time many still have a cap on how much data they can use on their phone each month.
By being able to make to separate choices regarding upload: 1. Connected to power and 2. Connected to WiFi , upload happens automatically and you don’t have to worry about battery life or monthly cellular data savings. - Megan7 months ago

Status changed:NewtoGathering SupportAt the moment, if you open the Dropbox mobile app, tap on Account and then the gear icon > Camera Uploads; there is a "Use cellular data to back up" which you can toggle off, so that your files are automatically uploaded while connected to Wi-Fi only.
