Hi, I'm new here and I'm trying to figure out a problem. So our website has embedded a shared Dropbox link to host the files so I can upload them to a server but it is a common issue that it is not syncing with the website. I have already tried to clear caches, checking fire wall, anti virus, network connections but nothing seems to help resolve it. Do you guys have any suggestions? I have a Plus account which I upgraded to be able to share my wedding photos with family and friends. When I sent the link to the folder to my father, he was immediately asked to pay £8 and set-up his own account. Plus he's now been bombarded with emails from Dropbox. Have I misunderstood what Dropbox can do? I don't want my family and friends to have to pay to access my wedding photos! Does this mean I now have to upgrade even more to be able to do this? Boss wants me to back up all of our assets from dropbox to the company's servers here in our office "just in case." Problem is that's hundreds of folders, almost 2TB of data (photos, videos, documents, etc). Is there any way to transfer files, or download all of our dropbox assets straight on to an external hard drive, and NOT on to my Mac? On the web, I have gone to a file in the Folders tab, clicked on the ... next to it, and gone to Activity - Version history. I then get an "Error (400). Something went wrong. Don't worry, your files are still safe and the Dropbox team has been notified. Check out our Status Page to see if there is a known incident, our Help Center and forums for help, or head back to home." So I'm hear to ask for help. I would like to get an earlier version of a file, as I understand that they are retained for 30 days. Please add a button to the standard Dropbox folder view on the website to open that folder in the admin console. It's annoying when you get sent a link to a folder that someone needs changes made in - such as permissions - and you have to open the admin console and navigate click-by-click to that location. I just got sent a shared folder. I keep hitting the 'download folder' and it is non responsive like I haven't clicked anything at all. I try individual files and those give me a notice 'failed to download'. No reason why. All other folders I have access to are responsive, only seems to be this folder.
