Downloading files from Dropbox via Safari

Hi I am unable to download any files from Dropbox using Safari. Everything works ok using Google Chrome. I am using Sequoia 15.4 and safari 18.4.. I have the same problem on both my Mac Mini and Macbook Pro. Everything worked ok yesterday and today nothing?

I am also now experiencing issues trying to log in and getting a warni g that the the two satge verification could not be sent.

What is going on?

Hi again, Tony! I just wanted to let you know that there’s an issue at the moment with individual files being downloaded from Safari (v18.4), so this could explain what you’re experiencing.

Hi there Tony Heather - thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Can you please let us know if this happens after clearing your browser's cache and on a private browsing window of Safari as well?

If you get the same results, I'd appreciate a screenshot of the error or the last screen you can get to.

    Thanks!

I have cleared the browser cache (all history) and also opened a Private browser window. I am still getting the same problem and cannot download a file from Dropbox via Safari

Depending on which computer I am using (Mac Mini or MacBook Pro) I am getting a login warning that I two stage verification code cannot be sent. Which is really frustrating!

I see, thanks for the additional information there Tony Heather

If you could also send us a couple of screenshots so that we can have an exact visual of the problem too, i'd appreciate it.

Screenshots of what? I do not get any notification that a download cannot occur. I click the download link and absolutely nothing happens or appears?

Thanks for these screenshots, Tony. I’m assuming that nothing happens when trying to download a folder from the Dropbox website either, correct?

Also, besides clearing your Safari browser’s cache, I’d like you to disable any add-ons/extensions and check if there are any pending browser updates that need to be installed.
