Unable to read Word documents. What can I do?
I just tried this and it modified my Dropbox files, but I still get the same error message that the file may have become corrupted and to use text converter. Does anyone have any other ideas?
Just solved the issue! I had downloaded Dropbox from the Dropbox website. I deleted that and downloaded the Dropbox app from the Microsoft Store. Now I can open my MS Office documents without a problem.

I was able to solve the problem in this way: I had installed Dropbox from the Dropbox website. I uninstalled it and then downloaded Dropbox from the Microsoft Store. Once I installed Dropbox with that installation file, Dropbox worked as it should.

Hi BGUYUT, let's jump right into this!
As a first step, I moved your reply out of this older thread, just because it might have been outdated.
Would you like to share some additional info with me? When did this error start, and do you notice this on all your Word files?
Also, are you able to see the file extension of the Word file on the end?
Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there!
