"We’ve suspended your sharing activity" error
Hi,
Recently I stopped being able to join shared folders and when I share I folder myself I get this error: "Can't share file. We’ve suspended your sharing activity because of a violation of Dropbox’s Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy, and Terms of Service or Services Agreement.". I've been using this Dropbox account rightfully for about 15 years, is there any way I can fix this problem?
Thank you.

When I try to share a link it says I am a banned member. How do I fix this? I have gone thru the articles the chat sent me to and it does not say how to actually resolve the issue.
Yesterday I tried to share a link and it said some of my files may contain phishing content. I had our security team sweep my entire computer and drive and they found nothing. I tried to send a Dropbox link this morning and it says I am banned member.
How do I correct this so I can use Dropbox again?

Hey there, kaylynn, I hope you're doing well!
No worries about that, when we're around!
I'd need to open up a ticket on my end, in order for us to have a closer look into this, and possibly send this to the relevant department.
Would you be okay with that?
Let me know, and we'll take it from there!

Hi deehat, let's see what we can find together on this!
Based on the error you received, it sounds like your sharing ability might have been temporarily suspended. You can find out more info at this Help Center article.
Have you recently shared a link which could have been downloaded many times, or to a large file?
This will help me to assist further!

Hi @Megan, thanks for your response. I really don't know. It's a personal dropbox account that I've had for a very long time. I've looked at my shared folders, files and links, and the last time I actively shared a link was in 2021 it appears. There's nothing too large on there and there are not even many files. So I really don't know.
Is there no way for you to check what the issue might be from your end?
Thanks,
Daniel.
