Hi. I met someone at a concert and recorded a video of him interacting with the singer, and would like to send the video file to him. He gave me a Dropbox link to upload the video, but when doing so using the Dropbox Android app, I get a notification of "Upload stopped. Your Dropbox is full." Is this referring to MINE or HIS Dropbox being full? I have a free Dropbox Basic account with 2GB of storage. The video file is 2.33GB. I read that uploading files to someone else's Dropbox uses my own, I think, but I don't know if that applies in this situation. Thanks!2Views0likes0Comments"We've interrupted your sharing activity" error when trying to share
I'm trying to share a folder and keep getting the error message: "We’ve interrupted your sharing activity. For details or to contact support, read our help centre article." I've read the article but it's not helpful for next steps because I have no idea which of the issues is causing this error message. I'm on a basic plan so I can't contact support. Any ideas on how I can sort this??24Views0likes1Comment"We’ve interrupted your sharing activity." How can I resolve this error?
I cannot share my files anymore. When attempting to I am getting this message below "We’ve interrupted your sharing activity. For details or to contact support, read our help centre article." Hi I have had dropbox on my computer for years now although I have not been using it for quite some time. I recently tried to share a new folder and got the message: "We’ve suspended your sharing activity because of a violation of Dropbox’s Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy, and Terms of Service or Services Agreement." I have no idea which of the terms I may have violated or how to fix it. The chatbot wasn't very helpful either. Dropbox still works on my computer and I can see all my storage on the website but I'm just not able to share any files or folders. I would appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue.Solved3.2KViews0likes17CommentsMy sharing activity was suspended

I've uploaded an image file. Ensured that anybody with a link can view the image. Shared the link. Anybody that clicks on the link, including myself, is met with an Error 400 "Something went wrong" message when clicking said link. Any insight would be very much appreciated. Link in question: [link removed by moderator to prevent excessive traffic]Solved81Views0likes6CommentsPublic links have been temporarily suspended for generating excessive traffic.
I got a notice last week saying my public links have been temporarily suspended for generating excessive traffic. I looked at links, and I don't have very many - and haven't added any new ones in a long time. I clicked the link to remove the suspension and it worked. Then I got the same message again and the link now won't let me reset it. I don't even know what is causing the excessive traffic. I looked in my shared folders and most that are shared are small. There are some large folders that were shared with me, but they say "You haven't joined this folder." Any idea how I can find the source, and get this suspension removed? Helllo I have been receiving emails "your Dropbox public links have been suspended for generating excessive traffic" . Weeks ago I deleted the file and even all other shared folders. Yet I am still getting this message with no way to resolve it other than the suggested "upgrade your plan". Which I don't need the capacity for. What else can I try?75Views0likes9Comments
