"You're out of storage" message on a shared folder when space is available.

A user that has "Can edit" access to one of our shared Dropbox folders is getting a "You're out of storage" message when trying to add files.  However, we have 98%+ of our 2 Tb free which is far more...

    YOU have enough space in your account. They do not. As Megan mentioned, every member of a shared folder has their own copy of the folder in their account, taking up space. Anything they add to the folder needs to fit within their account's available space; not just yours.

    If they're out of space and don't want to upgrade, you can send them a File Request instead. They'll be able to upload files directly to your account, no Dropbox account needed.
