I can no longer use the Dropbox for Outlook integration.
I have installed the dropbox plugin form outlook and initially it was working fabulously. Now when i try to save an attachment to dropbox from outlook it keeps asking me to sign in then get a blank box. I cannot see any addin installed for dropbox or find anyway of doing this. This is very frustrating as it was a fabulous option to have and made the saving of attachments so easy but now it is very frustrating. I have tried re adding the plug in and done a repair on outlook but still does not work. The outlook is part of Office 365. Any suggestions??

Hey ab769585, thanks for your post.
To make sure I got it right, you had installed the Dropbox for Outlook plugin, and it got randomly removed from your Outlook email? Did this occur after any kind of update perhaps?
What do you see when trying to install it again?
Finally, are you part of a Dropbox team by any chance? I’m asking in case your admin has restricted third-party integrations, which would also prevent you from using this plugin. You can find more details here.
Let me know what you find.

HI. I am not sure if this happened after an update - it may have. I have tried reinstalling the plugin and it confirms it has been installed. However when i open outlook and check addins there is no addin for Dropbox.
When i try and save an attachment to dropbox, i get a login box appear that asks me to login to dropbox. I complete this and then the box that would normally show my dropbox folders does not populate and remains blank.
I have checked my dropbox preferences and it is set to save to office. What else can i try?

Can you send me a screenshot of the Dropbox preferences you’ve checked, so that I can have a look?
I’d also like one more screenshot of what you see here.

Hey ab769585, thanks for the screenshots.
If you try to do this from a different browser or a private browsing window, do you get the same behavior?
- ab76958510 months agoExplorer | Level 4
Yes happens with whatever browser is used.

Thanks for checking, ab769585.
Can you let us know if you're also part of a Dropbox team and if it's possible that the team admin has restricted third-party integrations, like Nancy suggested?
If not, can you confirm that you have all the necessary system requirements, found here?

HI I have been informed that third-party integrations has NOT been restricted.
I have checked and believe meet all the requirements but what i cannot understand is why the addin does NOT show in outlook.
