Want to know more about Dash? Check out how Amy uses Dropbox and Dash to make her day easier here!
For Windows users, when installing Dropbox the user has no option but to allow DropBox to sync data with the C drive. Many Windows based PCs are now shipped with a smaller C drive (for apps) and a larger D drive (for data). Many folks also use external drives for data.
Please give users the option to choose which drive they wish to sync with.
I recently had to reset my PC. When I re-installed DropBox, I wasted about 2 hours syncing, resetting the default drive and re-syncing.
Thanks, James

I hope you guys understand this is a feature that is important for installation only. It doesn't affect how you use the product. Seems ridiculous to ask "the community" for support. Seems you are using the community as an excuse not to spend the money to make the software easier to install. Either make the product easier to install or not.
Appears you are going the "not" route.
I will look around for other alternatives. Maybe I will ask the community.

Hi JLD61, sorry for jumping in here.
When installing the desktop app on your device, do you remember if there was an "Advanced Settings" link perhaps, before clicking on the "Open my Dropbox folder” option?
This should allow you to select which drive to sync your Dropbox folder to, and if you had already an existing Dropbox folder, you should be able to choose this one again, so that the app doesn’t re-download everything.
