I have Dropbox installed on Mac OSX 15.5. I have opted out of File Finder and chosen Selective Sync. I want some of my filers to be offline and others to be online only. But the ONLY files and folders I see in Finder are those I have set to be offline. There are no icons and no Dropbox integration with the Right Click menu. I have followed the steps to uninstall and reinstall using the Advanced settings (several times). But nothing changes. Dropbox's added dropdown menu options (like “Copy Dropbox link…” and “make online only” etc.) that show via right-click on Mac Finder window are suddenly absent. May this have anything to do with recently having unlinked and re-linked my Dropbox? I did a re-link two weeks ago per a DropBox Tech's suggestion, troubleshooting a different issue. Now I have two different Dropbox accounts. The new dropbox is visible in my Finder, the old one’s in ~/Library/Cloud Storage. Can I just delete that old one? Hi! Keep getting an error message and can not any files to load. I do not see any errors on the System Status site and I'm unsure what to do. Below is the error message: "Something went wrong. Don`t worry, your files are still safe and the Dropbox team has been notified. Check out our Status Page to see if there is a known incident, our Help center and forums for help, or head back to home." Sometimes, the error is simply "Something went wrong" with the same dartboard icon. Can someone help? I already tried clearing the cache and using a new browser. In fact, I keep getting an "invalid email" error when I try logging in on a new browser. Hi For the last few days my offline files have been unavailable in my IOS apps (iphone and ipad). Every time I try to access them I get the yellow triangle saying refresh update. I connect to wifi and do this however the yellow triangle stays and when I go to the folders in offline mode they are all empty. I have tried removing the offline files, clearing cache and redownloading but still with the same result. The reason I want to have offline files is so I can use them while I am offline, but the constant need to update or sync them makes it necessary to always be online, which is not always possible eg when travelling. I have updated to the latest version 424.2 and it was working fine for about a day but now it's happening again. Earlier this week, I traded in my two year old MacBook Pro 14" running Sequoia 15.4.1 for a new MacBook Pro 14", which is also running the same version of Sequoia. On the old MacBook, I had the Dropbox Mac desktop app in the dock. Note - the actual blue and white Dropbox app icon, not the group of folders representing the Dropbox folders. I reinstalled the Dropbox Mac desktop app but when I open it, the blue and white Dropbox app does not appear in the dock. I can see the icon in the menu bar but nothing in the dock, which is my preferred way to access my Dropbox folders. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times but no difference. I have given Dropbox full disk access in System Settings. It is set to launch on start-up. Can anyone offer a thought on why this is happening? Please don't suggest any alternative ways to access my Dropbox folders, I know what they are but they are not my preferred route and I can't see why this is happening with the new MacBook running exactly same version of the OS. Recently I went back to Dropbox having read that it now works with Snapdragon Windows versions, but currently I have a significant issue. I cannot have any online-only file in my SP11, thus I cannot have all Dropbox files in my device. I have this in the main DP screen: Then I go to "Manage hard disk space", select folders and make online-only. In less than a second I get the message they are online-only, but they aren't. Hallo, whenever I opena folder or a file on Dropbox from File Explorer, it always takes a lot of time, about one minute. If I do the same form an app, example open a file fron Word or Excel, both folders and files open quickly. This appens on my office PC only. From iPad, iPhone or home PC it works normally. Hello, is there a way to play music files from Dropbox (via cell phone and WLAN)? I can only play one file at a time, but not an entire album. There is the Musicbox app, but it doesn't seem to work properly. Only a few pieces of music from an album or folder are synchronized to the cell phone. I have been generally using dropbox.com for work, all files appear in the folders as they should be. I downloaded the app because I heard Excel functionality is better this way. However, all of my work files are not appearing in the folder. I'm in a folder now, and the website shows 15 files there, but in my app only 2 appear. I've deleted and reinstalled.
