Can I download Zoom Meetings to a Team folder instead of the personal folder in Dropbox?
Want to download meetings from zoom account to the 'business' part of the dropbox account not the Personal Dropbox folder. Both accounts have the same email address. Have connected the apps - so Zoom meetings are downloaded to Dropbox automatically. Can I change the download location from the personal DB folder to a shared team folder? If not, could a rule move these files? Have 'Dropbox Advanced' plan. Thanks
Team folders in Power Automate have stopped working after 20/04/2024 upgrade
Since the upgrade to Dropbox on the 20/04/2024 we have encountered a number of issues with apps and programs that utilise Dropbox. Rather than confusing the issue, the first of these relates to Microsoft power automate. The team Dropbox folders that are shared with me and monitored by this program have now disappeared. The only Dropbox folders I can see our my specific folders, and not those that I have access to as part of a team. In my DBL Dropbox desktop folder I have my profile folder and then I have access to all the team folders that I am part of. I can access these on my desktop and online without an issue. The problem I have is that if I am trying to access these team folders through any other software, they are not visible following the upgrade on 20 April? This is causing major issues and I assume that there is a setting that needs to be changed for me and my colleagues? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
I can't see the top level folder in Adobe after the latest Dropbox team update
Our organization (Dropbox Advanced) recently was migrated to the Dropbox "team space" file system model. I have encountered no unexpected behavior with interacting with my files in macOS Finder or Windows Explorer in the usual way. However, I occasionally will use the Adobe + Dropbox integration to access PDFs in my Dropbox folders directly inside Acrobat Pro or Acrobat Reader, both in macOS and in Windows. After we were migrated, the Adobe + Dropbox integration (under "Other file storage" in the Acrobat sidebar) only seems to be able to access my personal folder within my Dropbox ("/[FullName]"), not the top level ("/"). Furthermore, the file storage label under "Other file storage" in the Acrobat sidebar is still "Dropbox ([OrgName])" instead of the new "[OrgName] Dropbox" as it it labeled in macOS Finder and Windows Explorer. I have disconnected and reconnected the Adobe + Dropbox integration inside Acrobat in both macOS and Windows, and the behavior is the same; no access to the top level. Acrobat is up to date in all cases. Is this a situation where Adobe has not updated their macOS and Windows Acrobats to accommodate these changes? My iOS Adobe Acrobat works just fine with the team space model, with appropriate and expected access to the top level of files. TIA, Joe
Dropbox Sign missing Template Links option
I've seen someone else have the same issue as me and posted a question on the 23rd Jan. Since the Dropbox Sign templates have been moved app.hello.sign.com the function "create template link" is no longer available on Business accounts. Seems absolutely bonkers that this is the case and so can Dropbox please look to reintroduce this functionality - especially for business accounts where this kind of thing is required frequently.
Dropbox Sign missing Template Links option
Hello: I am a new Business Team plan Admin member (3 user), and creating new templates in Dropbox Sign (Dropbox signatures redirects me automatically), but I do not have an option to "create template link" as has been described in the help articles and posts in these forums. It is missing as an option for me even though I have a plan that should include it. There should be a little pulldown arrows to the right of the Blue button in the corner, but from my screenshot below, mine doesnt have it. Can someone confirm if Dropbox Sign still offers this, or if there is something going on with that feature in general, or how I can resolve this? Thanks,
We're getting an error when saving CAD files to our Dropbox team account.
Hello all! Working for a company that uses Dropbox business for file storage. Especially CAD files at the moment. About a month ago we encountered problems with saving 2D drawings to our Dropbox. After asking the CAD-software rep for help they sent us over to Dropbox to ask here. It specifically happens when trying to save new iterations of existing 2D drawing's in Inventor. It gives us the error in the image below. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge about this? Thanks in advance!
Is there an SFTP integration for Dropbox Business plans?
I have learned that SFTP is now available for business accounts in Dropbox. I need to be able to send files with SFTP. Is this possible? In checking online, results (mostly AI) say that SFTP isn't available on Dropbox, but I would like to confirm with a developer.
