Saving email attachments (pictures) using Dropbox for Outlook on Windows 11
Hi smart peolple
I have installed Dropbox for Outlook(desktop) on Windows 11.
We are getting lots of mails with photos from out staff when they are cleaning. I wish to use the app for saving those photos on Dropbox. However when saving photos to Dropbox, It will also save all the icons in peoples signature. That is often 5-6 tiny pictures with phones, FB, LinkedIn logos ect. Anyway to avoid those tiny icons/pictures?
NB: I know I can remove them manually, but that takes way to long time.
HI Thomas Oreskov, currently, there isn't a method via Dropbox to only download larger images from emails in the Outlook integration.
It might be possible via Outlook, though you might need to contact them for further assistance to see if this is an option in their integration.

Can you please walk me through the exact steps you take to save your photos to Dropbox from your email and send us a screenshot as well so that we can have a visual too?
Thanks so much!

I hope the gif works:
- Folder in dropbox is ampty
- In Outlook(desktop) I am using the Dropbox app to save the attechments.
- In Dropbox folder 8 pictures are being saved. Most of them is tiny.

Are the pictures that are being saved the same size as they would be if you were to download and attach them manually Thomas Oreskov?

Hi Walter
The picture "Save ONLY this picture" is 242 KB on Dropbox. On Outlook it is 263 KB.

Hi Walter
Did you have a point in asking about the size of the files? - Walter4 months ago

I was merely checking if the issue comes from the integration or something else in this case Thomas Oreskov
