Someone sent me a dropbox transfer file link, and supposedly my email is listed on the team, but when I click on the link, it says "Error, we can't find the page you're looking for". Everyone else on the team can seem to open it just fine but me. Why might this be?27Views0likes1Comment'Invalid password' error when opening password-protected files
I have many files that are password protected. I have had them for years and have never had trouble accessing them. My password is stored in a password vault, and I have never touched or changed it. Now, every file I try to open says "invalid password," even though I'm copying it from my password vault. This happens on my phone, my Dropbox app on my Mac, and in Dropbox.com in the Safari browser. How can I access my files!!??Solved115Views0likes5CommentsCan't view offline files on iPad without access to the internet
Something changed over the last couple of months. I have hundreds of JPEG photos of sheet music I made and stored in Dropbox, with each jpeg saved in the Dropbox app on my iPad to be viewable off-line so that I can access them while I perform. After many years of using it this way, very abruptly something changed and my stored offline jpegs and folders are no longer viewable on my iPad if I don’t have Internet access. They all still have the blue icon illuminated indicating they are stored to my app for offline viewing but if the internet goes, everything vanishes if I’m in a remote area without internet or cell service I can no longer access any of the images that are stored in the app for offline use ; this is a brand new issue after using Dropbox to do this for over a decade. is there something I can fix in settings? Or was something changed permanently about the iPad app?68Views0likes5CommentsDamaged files on the Dropbox desktop app on MacOS Sequoia
Several pdf files stored in my DropBox account are listed as having 0kb files sizes when viewing them on desktop. I am unable to open them in a browser or Acrobat. Via dropbox.com, these same files are fine - downloadable and viewable, etc. There is no issue with file size constraints - all files are well within this account's storage capacity. I have removed and re-installed the desktop app with no change to the above. This is on OSX Sequoia. Any insight into why this is occuring would be helpful. It's a basic account, so Dropbox punts on technical support.Solved145Views0likes4CommentsI can't see my files when I log in to the Dropbox website
I can log in to dropbox.com. I pay monthly. I cannot see a single file or folder on dropbox.com. I need to see them because I have some folders that are online only and do live on my harddrive. has anyone found a fix? The chat is a joke and doesn't help and apparently I'm not paying enough for an email or phone call support (outrageous). I hope you users of dropbox can help. thanks so much.Solved76Views0likes5CommentsI can't open my Dropbox files.
I have not been on Dropbox lately and came back to see many many changes. I am sticking to free account but I absolutely cannot even see or open any of my things that are on Dropbox here. Nothing!! Just the huge add splashed across to know what version of Dropbox I wanted. There are many files that I want to access but I have no idea what to do. Am I really that forgetful? Yes I am a senior citizen but oh my goodness! I need help! Please!Solved128Views0likes7Comments
