Total nightmare!!Solved13KViews28likes36CommentsDropbox isn't allowing me to view or share files on the mobile app/website.
Both on phone app and the website. They show for a second and then say "something went wrong our end" with a dart board graphic? I also can't copy the link to a file from the right click menu or share any files? This is incredibly annoying as I need to send a folder. Thanks for the help.Solved690Views12likes28CommentsError 500 when trying to access the Dropbox website

How can I expand the left sidebar width. I have many levels of files and I can not see the names of folders that I want to move files into. As you can see below, all I can see is the first letter of the folder "A" and there are several of them. I want to be able to expand the left sidebar so I can see the names of those folders and not just the first letter. I was able to do it before, but not now for some reason. Thanks!1.9KViews7likes13CommentsHow user-friendly is Dropbox on mobile, and how seamless is your collaboration with your team?

Safari cannot open the page. The error is: "The operation couldn't be completed. (kCFErrorDomainCFNetwork error 1.)" (kCFErrorDomainCFNetwork:1) Dropbox recently moved itself to "a safer location", i.e., ~/Library/CloudStorage/Dropbox. Everything was fine. Afterward, I upgraded macOS to 13.0 (Ventura). Safari is now ver 16.1 and cannot open html files stored in Dropbox. All other apps appear to be quite happy with cloud versions of Dropbox files, including Chrome, TextEdit, macVim, Terminal, etc. Probably something minor, but not sure what.Solved5.4KViews3likes28CommentsCan I remove the "your activity" files?
It seem impossible to imagine but apparently Dropbox has decided that recent activity/files in recent activity are now permanently viewable until replaced by more recent activity. Really? I hope I'm wrong. Dropbox started out as uniquely user friendly and easy to use. I've watched that disappear over the years. It's becoming every bit the arrogant, controlling, short sighted and customer unfriendly type of site that it once stood out from. Again, if anyone has different information, please share. I'm truly hoping I'm wrong.404Views2likes7CommentsDropbox website is extremely slow when accessing or uploading files
Hey, guys. Long-time Dropbox user, but perhaps not for very much longer. Every time I try to go to Dropbox in the last couple of days, it is unresponsive. * No matter what browser I use * No matter which part of the website I try to access (it took 20 minutes to update a payment method) * Uploads (65 files, 15Mb each) estimated to take "days." Completely hangs. * Speedtest.net reports that my upload speeds are close to 1Gb. * Bitdefender has dropbox.com whitelisted. * I'm on ethernet connection... not WiFi. I really need a resolution here, or I'm going to have to put another solution in place.930Views2likes10Comments
