"Conflicted Copy" entire dropbox folder
Turned on my laptop this morning and noticed my entire dropbox folder said "conflicted copy" and renamed it. I have seen individual files with this issue, but the entire folder became conflicted?...

Hi, I have the same issue, only about 15 folders have been duplicated. Could it have occurred because I worked offline for a few days and others worked online in between?

2 years agoHey JonathanAU, sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
There are three ways a conflicted copy can happen:
1. Two users change the same file at the same time
2. Someone edits a file offline while someone else edits the same file
3. A file is left open on another user’s computer, which Dropbox saves as a new edit—this is especially common when using applications with an auto-save feature.
Note: The last version saved will always appear as the conflicted copy.
For more information about this and next steps, you can have a look here.
I hope this helps!
