No taskbar icon, no green circles, not right click menu items.
As the title says, I can't check the sync status as none of the items are available on my Windows 10 Pro Dell Precision laptop, which is 8 years old. I read through several help articles, and I can't perform any steps as the articles reference items I can't see on my laptop.
Do I wait for the sync status being available on the web page?
Do I reload the app?
Do I only upload using the web page?
Where is the sync status on the web page?

The best course of action right now would be to use these steps to uninstall, and then reinstall the app.
Since you don't see the Dropbox icon on your taskbar, feel free to skip the first 3 steps when uninstalling the app. That should do the trick, and fix the issues you mentioned but you can let me know if it doesn't.
Keep in mind that you can't check the app's syncing status on the website.
I'll be waiting for your updates!

I deleted the old desktop app and reinstalled the new desktop app, and all works according to the information I researched here. Thank you for the very quick response to my problem statement.
