Upgraded using the wrong email address. What can I do?
I've mistakenly upgraded my Dropbox storage plan with my wrong email address. I've had an account for years with 2TB storage and it was nearing full, so received many reminders to upgrade. What I think I then did was to pay for a new account by accident by using a wrong email address in the process. Spotting this I want to know how I can unwind this - one account all paid up?
I've lost the plot as to how I might sort this?
Thanks.
I see, thanks for clarifying that for me DTEydon
In that case, I'd recommend reaching out to Apple directly to cancel the subscription that's associated with the wrong account and ask for a refund and then upgrade the correct one as desired.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hey DTEydon - sorry to hear about this.
Can you please clarify how you upgraded the account in the first place for us? Was it, for example, through the website directly or via an app store on a mobile device of yours?
Are you able to access and log into both accounts normally? I mean, are you able to log into the wrongly upgraded account apart from the correct one?
Let us know more and we'll take it from there.

Yes I clearly opened/upgraded on my iPhone, thinking I was sorting a problem I faced with my storage capacity being reached.
All my data is still in place on my mac desktop.

I've realised that I'm discoursing with you whilst in my 'old' account, but my phone is in 'new' account mode.

Hi Walter. Yes that's a good idea. I'll attempt that step. Thanks.
