How can I restore a deleted folder?
Hi! Dropbox deleted one folder. How can I restore it? I had received an email from Dropbox informing me that the folder was going to be deleted, but that email was in the Spam folder so I had no time to backup all the information of that folder. Now I need to restore all the information of this folder. Could you please help me?

I got this message via email Some content currently shared with you that’s owned by the xxx team on Dropbox will be permanently deleted i don't recall being part of a Dropbox team and this folder was owned by me, not anyone else. looking up in my account avatar, i am not a member of any team. i have no idea why i got this email, but now I'm missing a very important folder and i cant find a way to retrieve it. Dropbox allegedly has the option of retrieving deleted files within 30 days less than 2 weeks have passed since receiving this mysterious email but the files are not in the deleted files folder....!!!! and i cant find a way to contact anyone in Dropbox support to sort this out. HELP!!!
I got an email from Dropbox stating some files would be deleted on 05/26, but I can't find them.
Hi Dropbox Support and Community, I received an email from Dropbox notifying me that some content shared with me by the Love Team will be permanently deleted on May 26, 2025. The email included a CSV file listing the shared content, but when I check my Dropbox account, I no longer see any of the files or folders. The shared folder appears empty. Unfortunately, I no longer have access to the original email account the folder was shared with, so I can’t request a fresh invite or get a new link. However, I’m still logged into the Dropbox account that received the shared content originally, and I do have the CSV file that lists all the file names and locations. Is there any way for Dropbox support to help me recover access to those files or re-enable the shared links before the May 26 deadline? These files contain photos I’d really like to keep, and I’m hoping there’s still a way to retrieve them. Thank you in advance for any help or guidance.

Hi there! when looking at deleted files, Dropbox only shows me this type of summary: However, I do not see a way to list all those files, which I want to do, to make sense of what got deleted there, without having to restore it. Is there a way to list all those files that were deleted there? Thanks LuC
I accidentally deleted some files from my computer and I can't restore them.
Hi, Apologies if this has been asked or discussed elsewhere in this forum. It appears that I have accidentally deleted some files from a folder on my PC, which is synced to Dropbox. If I checked the events on the website, it indeed shows that the files were deleted, and the time also checks out. However, I cannot find the files in either Dropbox's recycle bin or my local PC's recycle bin. I want to recover those files. Can anybody help? Thanks!
Several files deleted without any action from me or any record of their deletion
I am having a similar issue to that in a recent post - I discovered this morning that two files saved yesterday were missing from my Dropbox folder, both as viewed through Windows Explorer and as shown on the Dropbox website. However, when I checked "recent documents" in my word processing program, I was able to open them, and when I checked their location, it was showing as that same folder. I followed the advice in the recent post and others, and looked at the Events page, but there is no record of these two files being deleted. It would be good to have some reassurance that this will not happen again, and that it has not been happening to other files without my knowledge. I am working on a large project with 100s of separately saved documents, and I sometimes leave a chapter for several months so would not necessarily notice one of these deletions within a 30-day period. One of my team folders disappeared before my eyes with an error that it doesn't exist.
I am manager of a group that has been using Dropbox Basic for at least 7 years. I went to the site using my normal process this evening. "MplsWritersGuild Team Folder" popped up as usual, except then disappeared and a red boxed note appeared "MplsWritersGuild Team Folder does not exist." How can I get it back?Weeks of Dropbox files are gone. Can I restore them somehow?
HELP! All our Dropbox files from May annd June are gone. We have checked through the app and online and the most recent files available are from the last week of April. This is catastrophic — my wife and I have used shared files in Dropbox for years and years to track bills, taxes and other critical functions. This has never happened before. It's been a while, but I don't know where to ask, so I'm writing it down ㅜ I'm inquiring again after giving up because there was no answer even if I asked the customer center on the drop box website. I think it was around the end of last year.. I was told to upload the camera while using the drop box, so I synchronized it and saw the size of the drop box getting bigger I deleted the camera upload file inside the drop box, but the photo and video file were deleted on my smartphone (iPhone)ㅜ This did not happen immediately, but I deleted the camera upload file in the drop box first About a month? Afterwards, the system update was going on on my smartphone (I wasn't updating it about 2 times) I was looking at the photos and videos and they were disappearing one by one in front of my eyes ㅜ I couldn't stop it... There was no file even if it went into the deleted file ㅜㅜ I tried to upgrade the dropbox pricing plan, but the camera upload file did not appear in the recovery list. ㅜ Is there any way...? Please help me ㅜ There are many precious files and pictures
